The Soonwald-Nahe Nature Park

The Soonwald-Nahe Nature Park encompasses landscapes that could not be more diverse in such a small area. It extends from the rugged highlands of the Hunsrück to the quartzite ridges of the "legendary" Soonwald with its deeply gouged stream valleys, to the vineyards in the sunny and dry Nahe valley.

The mission statement Forest-Wine-Wellbeing also signals that, in addition to protecting our rich cultural landscape, it is also a matter of gentle, nature-friendly usage that provides a future for people to work and live in the Nature Park.
